Abstract : | A new timing estimator exploiting phase difference between subcarrier is proposed for OFDMA uplink systems over frequency selective fading channels. The estimator exploits various pieces of phase difference information based on the best linear unbiased estimator (BLUE) approach in order to improve estimation accuracy. Simulation results confirm that the proposed estimator can extend the possible estimation range and decrease the MSE and SNR loss compared with Morelli’s estimator. |
