Conference : ICEIC2013
Abstract : This paper presents a new method for simultaneous primary user sensing and data transmission between secondary users in CR environments with multiple antennas. We propose a concept of simultaneous sensing and data transmission, named “TranSensing” using the antenna isolation and self-interference cancellation. The simulation result shows that the proposed TranSensing enhances the average throughput of secondary network compared to the conventional sensing such as quiet or active sensing in the low PU SNR region.
