Title : End-to-End Delay Minimization in FD Communication Systems

Conference : ITC-CSCC
Abstract : We propose power allocation algorithm in the pointto-point full-duplex (FD) systems considering non-full buffer traffic model. In non-full buffer traffic model, FD transmission occurs only when both nodes have traffic load. The average throughput depends on how long FD transmission is available. Power control is one of the methods which can manage both throughput and time duration of FD transmission. We propose a new algorithm that extends time duration for FD transmission and achieves lower average end-to-end delay than conventional FD transmission scheme. The numerical results show that the proposed power allocation algorithm achieves a remarkable gain in terms of average end-to-end delay.
