Abstract : In this paper, we establish a system level simulator for performance evaluation of dynamic time division duplex (D-TDD) systems. Specifically, we analyze how cross-link interference (CLI) affects the performance of the D-TDD systems and verify the performance of the D-TDD systems. Simulation results show that D-TDD systems achieve the performance gain in DL but exhibits the performance degradation in UL compared to Long Term Evolution (LTE)-TDD systems. In addition, this paper proposes an efficient research direction of the CLI mitigation schemes based on the simulation results.
